- In South Waterfront Oregon, a series of serial killings are happening. The murderers appearance is as dark as the night sky, as all he wears is a black robe and black mask.
- A man named Damien who suffers from schizophrenia lives in a small condo in the city, with a bed only big enough to fit himself and the thoughts that keep him up at night. He hears about all the murders going on and decides to be a hero and figure out who the murder really is.
- He tries to put together a list of suspects of who he thinks it could be. He tries to talk to his roommate and figure it out so they can figure it out together.
- He gathers together an array of informationand lays it out on his bathroom sink. He realizesall the information points towards hisroommate being the killer.
- He looks up in the mirror and sees his “roommate.” At this point the audience finds out that he never had a roommate all along, his split personality disorder had hit him harder than a rock. He thought his reflection was another person and believed that he had been living with that person for years now.
- He decides that in order to save the city he must kill his “roommate.” Damien ends up killing himself because he never realized who the actual killer was.
