- Gigi's family sits down once a week to put together his meal schedule. They usually do this on sundays, as they prep their own meals for the week.
- What to Order?
- Their Ark app lets them choose which meals they want to make for GeeGee, and which meals need to be ordered in. Through an easy to use calendar, they can slot in their meal preps, or leave it completely blank.
- Time to Grub
- Hey Geeg, it's time to eat! You get to order in for lunch. Do you want me to walk you through the options?
- Yes please
- Once they've decided to cook a meal for Geeg, they can input the meal name, a description, and picture. This will help the Ark assistant explain it to Geeg later on. They can also choose to have their caretaker pick up the meal and deliver it. The Ark assistant will automatically schedule the pickup and delivery, it just needs a week heads up to set things up! They can also choose to deliver it themselves.
- What to eat?
- I'll have a mac and cheese
- Lucky for Geeg, his family has already set up his list of 5 favorite meals through the uber eats service. They did this in the initial Ark setup when they signed up for the service. These pre-determined meals can be ordered in the blank meal slots. They also set up Geeg's meal times, so he can stay happy and healthy!
- Beep boop! It's 11am on monday, and Geeg needs to eat lunch in an hour. The Ark Assistant knows that this meal slot is blank, so he'll need to order in. The assistant also knows that the max order time for his favorite meals is an hour, so he'll need to order now.
- Your options are Mac and Cheese from Boston pizza, salad from salad house, or a salami sandwhich from the italian center
- Once Geegee makes a selection, the assistant will place the order on uber eats. The driver is notified to leave the food at the door. When it arrives, the assistant will let Geeg know to go to the door and pick it up. Throughout the process, Ark assistant prompts geeg to make sure he's able to move to the next step, if at any point he needs additional help, the caretaker is notified and patched in.
- Perfect, let me see if I can get that ordered......ok it's done. the food will be at your door in 15 minutes. Get ready!
