- Travis, Fessey, and Riot are transferred to the helicopter with the medics.
- Travis sets his backpack down on the ground.
- Whup Whup Whup
- The improvised explosive device (IED) goes off.
- "Give my guys water and tell them they're going to be okay!"
- "Don't worry, I'll take care of them for you."
- "Take off your helmet."
- Travis loses his leg and both arms.
- OWWWWWWWWW!!
- Bateson, the medic, attends to Travis until the helicopter arrives.
- Travis, along with Fessey and Riot, are transferred into the helicopter.
- "We're gonna put you under."
- The helicopter takes off and heads to the military base in Kandahar.
- Meanwhile in the helicopter,Travis yells at the medic about taking care of his men.
- During the flight to Kandahar, Riot is screaming in pain.
- The helicopter lands at the base in Kandahar.
- The hospital staff rushes Travis to the operating table.
- "Leave me alone."
