- I don't like it here dad, it smells bad.
- That's because we are in the Everglades.
- The Doyles moved to Florida because Emmet's dad got a job there.
- Hi Dr. Geaux.
- Hi Mr. Doyle, meet my son Calvin.
- Hi Calvin.
- Hi Emmet, hi Mr.Doyle.
- Dr. Geaux is Mr. Doyle's new coworker.
- Sounds creepy.
- There is this new animal, a pterogator, we need your help with.
- The pterogator was created by Dr.Catalyst. The pterogator is a hybrid of an alligator and an owl.
- I'm going to use this pterogator to get rid of all the snakes in the Everglades.
- Dr. Catalyst kidnapped Mr. Doyle.
- I'm going to keep you until they let me do what I want to do
- Oh, No!
- Emmet found his dad by using thermal imaging.
- Dad!
- Emmet you found me!
- In the end, Dr. Catalyst was arrested thanks to Emmet, Mr. Doyle, Calvin, and Dr. Geaux.
- Your going to the slammer.
- Thank you, Mr. Cop.
- Uhhh.
- I would rate this book 4 stars. I rate it 4 stars because it is action packed and exiting. I would recommend it to anybody who loves action. I connected to this book because I know what it is like to be a new kid. The only friend I had let me hang out with him and his friends. Authors website: michaelspraldin.com
