The Panspermia theory is the theory of how Earth formed 4.6 billion yrs. ago and how life emerged on Earth 3.8 billion yrs. ago.
The Panspermia Theory is...
Scientists think that asteroids came from other planets and carried unicellular organisms or bacteria, which soon evolved.
The unicellular (1 cell) organisms or bacteria evolved, changed over time, and became more and more diverse(different). Then eventually they became multicellular(many cells).
How the bacteria or unicellular organisms evolved
We can support this theory because first of all we know it's possible for asteroids to hit Earth, second of all we have tardigrades, extremely durable organisms that can survive in space.
Evidence to support the theory.
This proves that since the tardigrades can survive in space that organisms could've came from other planets. For example, other organisms, cyanobacteria gave our atmosphere oxygen.
Proving how the asteroids could've carried bacteria or cells.
This is why I think the Panspermia Theory has a more accurate description of how the Earth formed.
