- So, your 16th birthday is coming next week. Have you had any plans for your Sweet 16?
- Hmm, I think I'll just have a normal dinner with my family like usual.
- But it's Sweet 16 - the coming-of-age ceremony! You should have a lavish party with guests, delicious foods, fancy costumes, etc. to celebrate it.
- I know, but that's too much for me. Besides, it's the meaning of Sweet 16 that matters, not how it's organized.
- That's why in some rich families, like mine, the girls are given cars as presents on her 16th birthday.
- It's when teenage girls like us are officially considered adults, and we're allowed to drive too, in most states of the US.
- Then what about showing a video with music containg pictures of you since you were a baby? Any girls have that on their Sweet 16!
- Of course I will! But it's not going to be created by a DJ like yours but rather a simple one made by my parents.
- Well, suit yourself. Have fun with your Sweet 16! I think I might come if you don't mind.
- Oh, that will be so great! I'm looking forward to seeing you.
