- "He killed it! My father killed it! Jonas said to himself, stunned at what he was realizing" (Lowry 268).

- Jonas saw that his father killed the twin and realized that he's not an amazing man.

- Jonas didn't want to go to his dwelling because he knows his dads secrets now and doesn't trust him.

- Gabriel wouldn't have had any life so Jonas and Gabe left the community to try and find Elsewhere.

- The Giver helps Jonas create a plan to leave the community. He will give him all of the memories he would need to survive.
- Jonas is on a snowy hill bringing back all of the memories of family, snow, and Christmas.
