- Your parents? im your other mother and this is your other father. And if you want to stay with us we will have to sew buttons in your eyes.
- We have been waiting for you Coraline...
- We meet Coraline and her parents. We also learn that they just moved to a new apartment complex with one person above them and below them. A weird old man lives above them who knows too much about what's going to happen to Coraline. She also meets Mrs. Forcible and Mrs. Spink to elderly neighbors below them. Coraline is super bored and wants to go explore so her parents let her.

- While she is exploring Coraline finds a tunnel in her room that is illuminated purple and blue. She thinks its super pretty and cool so when she found this, she natuaraly trys to climb through it.

- When coraline enters to the other side she finds a eutopia with amazing food, a beautiful filled house, and amazing neighbors. But then she sees her parents but instead of eyes they have buttons. They are more fun, nicer and everything Coraline wants herparents to be but except her other mother says if she wants to continue living here she has to sew buttons in Coralines eyes. she goes back and fourth inbetween these to realms until...

- Other . She finds the other children... well the souls of them. She is caught in a panic while being chased by other mother. Coraline throws the black cat at Other Mothers face which holds her off. Other Mother grasps out searching, screeching just trying to make the last play then, Coraline escapes - for now.
- Coraline escapes Other Mother and gets her parents back. She has to go through a lot to do it though. In her dream she also see's a boy who didn't survive Other Mother like her and he says words of advice for her. Then Other Mother wants to get the key that helps Coraline get her parents back so Her singular hand try's to go steal it. In the end Other Mothers hand falls down a well

- Coraline's life finally went back to normal. She also talked to all her neighbors a little reluctantly but still enjoyed it because she gets to be back in her normal dimension without having the fear of getting buttons sewed in her eyes.
