- I tell my dad I love him because of my unconscious sexual desire of the parent with the opposite sex as me. This is due to Freud's Electra Complex theory of personality.
- How Eysenck See's Me
- I strive for superiority by winning the track race because as the oldest child, I am expected to perform the best. My childhood tension behavior is driven by my efforts to overcome my sense of inferiority.
- How Bandura See's Me
- I have a high conscientiousness due to my hard work in school, dependableness, and ability to stay organized. This is measured by the big five personality factors for conscientiousness which stands for competence, self-discipline, thoughtfulness, and goal-driven.
- How Karen Horney See's Me
- Mom! Help me! I'm scared!
- I prefer to sit by myself on the bus closest to the window because I am introverted with unstable emotions due to Eysenck's personality questionnaire. I tend to be quite, unsociable, anxious, moody, and reserved.
- I blame my bad grade on my teacher not liking me instead of accepting the reality that I didn't study enough due to self-serving bias. Bandura says that people accept more responsibility for good deeds than for bad. This can create a better-than-average effect.
