  • Freud's psychoanalytic perspective describes the ideas of Ego/ reality, ID/ pleasure principle, and Superego/ moral principle. These are hidden ideas we have in our unconscious mind.
  • How Costa & McCrae see me
  • Sure honey!
  • Dad, Can I have one?
  • Jung believed that the collective unconscious is expressed through universal concepts called archetypes. Archetypes can be signs, symbols, or patterns of thinking and behaving that are inherited from our ancestors.
  • How Bandura sees me
  • They got my order wrong again! This happens every time!

  • One concept is self serving bias which is where a person takes credit for something that is a success and blames others for their failure.
  • Adler believed that the man factors that influence development are sibling influences (birth order) and feelings of inferiority.
