After the incident with squealer and the execution of the so-called "traitors", Clover asks mureil to read the Sixth Commandment but it now read:"No animal shall kill any other animal, without cause"
The animals worked very hard, and as reported by squealer, their workload almost doubled. They couldn't feel much of a difference though because their rations where still little and didn't increase. Napoleon was rarely seen and stayed in the barn most of the time.
Napoleon decides to sell timber to the humans. After lots of tricks, Napoleon agrees to sell to Farmer Frederick. This was to purchase machienary for the windmill. Napoleon insists on cash rather than a check. Later, Napoleon realises Frederick has given him fake money and got the timber for free!! His roar of anger echoed in the barn, followed by an ominous silence.
Napoleon is furious at being tricked and announces changes their slogan "Death to pilkington" to "Death to Frederick. The animals prepare for an attack and the next day Frederick comes with a dozen men and guns. The animals are driven back to the farmhouse and barn.
Frederick and his men destroy the windmill. Filled with a new boiling rage, the animals return to the battle and defeat the men, who retreat. In the fight, Boxer is injured. Other animal are killed. Squealer, who was nowhere to be seen during the battle, forms the animals to celebrate their victory and lets off a gun salute.
The pigs find a case of whisky in the farmhouse that was neglected since the pigs moved in. Squealer hurried out of the farmhouse claiming that napoleon was dieing! As usual, snowball was blamed - and the animals were worried he had been poisoned. Later, the animals discover Squealer blacked out with a tin of paint next to him and a ladder the 5 commandment read: no animal shall drink alcohol to excess
