- Types of clouds are: cirrus, stratus, cumulus, and nimbus clouds
- What are types of clouds?
- Cumulus clouds are clouds are often described as "puffy", "cotton-like" or "fluffy" in appearance
- Stratus clouds are low-level layers with a fairly uniform grey or white colour.
- Cirrus clouds are short, detached, hair-like clouds found at high altitudes.
