- Jefferson couldn't believe what he was hearing. How could someone say that. All lives matter he just needed evidence. He knew exactly who he needed, John Howard Griffin.

- Thomas knew it was a lot to ask for but he had to try. With a lot of begging and pleading he finally persuaded John. He was going under cover as a black man.

- While John was undercover he saw a lot of things. He saw unforgettable horrors. When he saw enough he revealed his true identity.
