  • Based on the brief and research, the team have identfied the main user of the product: a female household shopper with two children (aged 12 and 14), married and living in rural Ireland. The joint household salary is €100k. The family is heavily involved in GAA and between the four of them they have quite an appetite!

  • I want to make sure my family is well-fed on good, quality food that doesn't take up too much time and is healthy for us and the planet.
  • Thinking more about the user, Maura, the team have identified some of her main motivators around food: Gains: Online shopping (weekly grocery shop), time with family, wine-o-clock and passing on good practices to her kids. Pains: Overly pocessed foods, decyphering food labels, managing the budget, spending hours in the kitchen.

  • The team now use the traits, features, personal, likes/dislikes, pains/gains to create a physical, tangible depiction of Maura. Using the bank of features, each team member takes turns to add a feature and build Maura's persona. Features include physical appearance, personality traits, goals, frustrations, motivations, brands used etc. ·
