- Bertie, Supposed son of Mrs Honoria Saltpen-Jago
- Bertie, supposed son of the Saltpen-Jago family, got off the train cursing furiously on the platform as the train moved on. When the train drew up to Sletherby's location, he told a story in his imagination about the encounter with the so-called son and was imagining how people would praise him for his astuteness.
- I left behind my coin purse which contained 4 quid. You see, just before i left i needed to send a letter and my coin purse had my crest in it and like an idiot, I left it behind, Would you mind lending me 3 quid
- Yes, it is a demi lion holding a cross-crosslet
- Really, when I wrote a letter to your mother, The crest was a running greyhound?
- Sure but may I ask what your crest is?

- If he is really Saltpen-Jago's son, he should have the same crest as her...
- Oh yes, That is the Jago crest. I use the Saltpen crest. We have the rights to use both
