- Hi everyone, my name is Owam Mafani. I think you might have notices already that it is my first day of Varsity, and that I'm happy and blessed to be here.
- In all honesty, I thought varsity was supposed to be fun, but I guess not, I just hope someone would have told me to not come to varsity with my feelings, because the workload here does not go hand in hand with feelings.

- My learning experience was intriguing, being on a new environment, having lectures and tutors at the same time felt surreal to me, not forgetting the workload I had to deal with and the emotions that came with it. Other than that, I would not change it for the world.
- In LES I was taught quite a number of things like writing an essay the proper way with citations and references where needed, I was also taught to paraphrase my work for future references. Lastly, I was taught how to present in front of people and what was needed of me during that time.
- I believe all these things will help in future, for example when I'm doing my post-graduation and in corporate world, where I will be required to make a lot of speeches and writing in a professional way.
