- The Duke of Athens is to be married to Hippolyta queen of the Amazons. Four days before Hippolyta and Theseus are too marry, Egeus wants, Theseus to tell his daugther, Hermia. Theues says you have three chioces to marry Demetrius, to die, or to abjure for ever the society of man. On the day of my wedding in four days you shall make yur choice. Hermia has these choices even though she loves Lysander.
- CLIMAX
- Hermia plans to run away with her love Lysander. However, before the lovers run away they tell Helena, who is in love with Demetrius. Helena thinks in telling Demetrius it might bring in hopes of winning some favor in his eyes. In the end all end they up running into the woods after one another.
- FALLING ACTION
- In the woods, after the fairy king Oberon tells his jester fairy named Puck, to fetch a flower that you pet on somones eyes, the next living thing they see they will fall in love with. Oberon while waiting for puck to fetch the flower, he overhears Demetrius and Helena fighting. when Puck comes back he tells Puck to take part of the flower and put the flowers juice on a Athenian man wearing Athenian clothes because a woman is in love with that man. Puck does this but he puets on Lyander and the next living thing he sees is, Helena. Puck has now gotten rid of Lysander's true love for Hermia and replaced it with a spell type of love for Helena.
- DENOUEMENT
- In the forest the "actors" are rehersing for their play that they will performe in front of the Duke and Duchess. While they are rehersing Puck comes around and sees what they are doing and that they are near the fairy Queen sleeping while rehersing. When Pyramus aka Bottom goes off stage Puck comes to Pyramu and turns his head into a donkeys head and when Pyramus comes out they run away because he has a donkey's head. Bottom thinks they are playing a joke on him so he strats singing and wakes uo the fairy Queen and Titiana falls in love with him because of the flower juice.
- The Duke, while riding to go hunting, comes upon the lovers in couples form Lysander, and Hermia, and Helena and Demetrius. After hearing their story, he is confused, but invites them to be married during his wedding ceremony.
- In the end, everyone is married! The play “Pyramus and Thisbe” is performed, by our "actors"and Puck get the last word and ends the play by saying "And so good night unto you all. Give me you hand if we be friends, and Robin shall restore amends."
