Storyboard Text

  • Hi! I am Dany. I am a 47 woman and I am very concerned about environmental issues and climate change.
  • I am a sailor and I developped a particular connection with oceans. I had the chance to sail on many seas and oceans over the past 20 years.
  • I had also the chance to hike in some spectacular areas around the globe. From years to years, my own impacts on climate change and the ones I noticed from others became more and more unacceptable to me.
  • From what I have seen, from what I have read and learned, I have no doubt that not only Earth is in danger but many living species are.
  • It makes me feel so sad and alone! I am upset because I have identified that it becomes urgent to act. I cannot stand to do nothing and to let a worst world to my daughter.
  • I have first reduced my car mileage. I stopped eating meat. I started to collect cigarette butts everywhere I was walking. I reduced the quantity of things I was buying. I try to make my part. I am afraid it is not enough and that things are too slow to make it happen. Frustration and fear arose!
  • After many trials with different NGOs I felt discouraged and I had a very bad feeling of helplessness . One-off actions had produced some results but not sustainable ones.
  • Hi, Amy, what are you doing today?
  • I am collecting cigarette butts. I started 2 hours ago and I have already found 245 of them.
  • Amy, aren't you fed up with those one shot actions ?
  • I know what you mean! But haven't you heard of ArmMe?
  • ArmMe? What's that?
  • ArmMe is an innovative organization that provides a permanent process to help individuals like us to deeply change human behaviors regarding environmental and social issues.
  • Another NGO that asks for subscription?
  • No! The only thing you need to join is to buy a connected armband that support an eco-friendly embroideries representing the cause you want to support.
  • And so what? What difference does it make?
  • It makes a big difference. I can turn every moment spent outside into a positive demonstration of support to my cause.
  • I see your armband. it's pretty. How is it connected.
  • Each Armband has a unique number that allows you to create an account on the ArmMe's App. Then, it is very easy to connect to thousands of people.
  • I see, ArmMe is a new social network?
  • No. Sure you can meet thousands of people, share results about your actions, read information about major NGOs supporting the same cause you do...
  • I see, ArmMe is more a support to increase your own impact?
  • But the main thing is that it helps you organize your own actions, it provides you insights you can share with people you meet in the street...
  • I am very impressed on the way you are talking about that experience!
  • Yes, you are right. It shows that everybody can act, that as small as everyday actions could be, they count and have to be registered and valued.
  • I think I am conviced. I should join ArmMe.
  • Yes, I am very enthousiastic. ArmMe helped me to communicate with others, to make many people change their behaviors regarding the actions I did.
  • This is precisely what I was looking for, a solution to accelerate behaviors changes.
  • Sure you have to. It will give you a unique opportunity to show others how to implement easy sustainable impactful actions that gather people.
