  • QUICK THE SNOWMAN' ON FIRE by Shir-Anne Parker
  • Atticus has just returned from the funeral of Mrs Arthur, Mr Arthur' wife
  • Ask him.
  • You ask him, you're the oldest
  • Atticus, did you see Mr Arthur?
  • No I did not.
  • The next morning Scout wakes up with a fright when looking out the window and see white flurries
  • The worlds ending' Atticus! Please do something!
  • Heavens alive, take it all! There’s an old peach basket under the house, haul it off in that.
  • No it's not. It's snowing.
  • Jem appears to also come see the snow?
  • I haven't the slightest idea.
  • How do you build a snowman?
  • I don't want to disappoint you, but there may be hardly enough to make a snowball
  • On their way to make their snowman Mr Avery acosted them.
  • It's bad children like you make the seasons change!
  • Miss Maudie may we borrow your snow?
  • Mr. Avery’s sort of shaped like a snowman, ain’t he?
  • You can’t go around making caricatures of the neighbors.

  • Atticus and the children come outside to see flames bursting out of Miss Maudie' dinning room

  • As Mr Avery attempts to help he ends up falling out the window.
  • Someone has put a blanket over Scout
  • I thought I told you and Jem to stay put.
  • why, we did we stayed.
  • Then who's Blanket is that?
  • It was Boo Radely who had put the blanket over Scout
  • The next day the children went over to go see Miss Maudie
  • We're awfully sorry about you house Miss Maudie
  • I always wanted a smaller house. I would've done it myself but I would get arrested
