- During one afternoon..
- It's not even going to be a match since I'll beat you in the dust.
- Let's have fun in this match!
- WOW!! How did she do that?! Ah whatever it was probably just a fluke.
- Haha.. that was just a chance I gave you in order for you to get a point! Have fun losing now.
- Whatever you say..
- How.. did you win..? I'm the best player at school..
- I won because I don't get overly confident and cocky. It's also because I know a lot about speed, acceleration, and velocity.
- When I hit the ball over to your side over the net, that is an example of speed. It's an example of it because it moved a certain distance in a certain amount of time. Basically, speed is the distance an object or anything travels in a certain amount of time.
- Maybe I should have payed more attention in science class.. haha.. oops..
- If I were to aim the ball in a certain direction, that would be considered velocity. This is an example of that because I aimed the ball towards the left side of your court, and it also has a speed to it. That is towards the east side of the school, if we were to put it in directional terms. Velocity is basically speed but in a certain direction.
- WOW!! You're too good.. let's keep this between you and me.. please..?
- When we hit the tennis ball back and forth, that is an example of acceleration because the ball changed direction and speed as we we hit it to the each other. Acceleration is the change in speed and direction of an object or person. Also, I don't think that's an option haha! I guess I'm the best now!
- Ah alright.. I see. All this stuff is so confusing. Can we forget this all happened..?
