- Mary was a 14-year-old girl in the land of Nazareth. Hse worshipped god with her family, and had a deep conection in faith.Mary had no children because she lived according to God's law. She was not married but was engaged to a man named Joseph
- One night, an angel named Gabriel came to her room, and told her that she was chosen to be the mother of God's Son. The angel stated " God is with you". Even though the angel said this, Mary was confused and shocked at the news. But then the angel reassured her that God was with her. Angel stated to Mary that she was to call her son Jesus, and he will be the king forever.
- I will marry you!
- Before Joseph and Mary were getting married, Mary confessed what the angel had told her to Joseph. She said that she was to be pregnant with the son of God. Joseph initially didn't believe her, but Joseph was a man of God, and broke the engagement quietly so society wouldn't think badly of MAry.
- While Joseph was thinking about the broken engagement, an angel came into his dreams and told Joseph to not be afraid to take Mary as her wife. The angel explained that Mary's baby was from God. The angel told Joseph that she was to name him Jesus and the son would save people from their sins.
- When Joseph woke up, he did as the angel asked. Joseph decided to take Mary back as his wife while she was still pregnant with Jesus, and they had faith in God that he would keep them safe. They followed the plan God had given them to help bring the Savior, Jesus Christ to the world.
- Jonah told the people what happened to him and warned them to stop being bad or in 40 days the city would be destroyed. They prayed to God to tell him they were sorry. The King told the people to listen to God and they were good. God did not destroy the city.
