- Exposition- In the year 2055 a man named Eckels wishes to go back in time to where dinosaurs had once roamed the earth and shoot it. The Time Safari Inc. is an business that can make your wishes of going back in time to kill any animal of your choice.
- Time SafariInc.
- Rising Action- Eckels is nervous that he might not make it out alive however he is guaranteed that he will see the dinosaurs
- Time Safari inc.
- Will I come back alive?
- Only time will tell

- Rising Action- Mr. Travis told them about all the strict rules about how no one can step off the path because if hey do then the future can be altered. Mr. Travis also said that no one can shoot the dinosaur without his OK.
- You can change the future
- Conflict- Eckels got scared and went off of the path when he saw the gigantic dinosaur. Mr. Travis and the others got upset at Eckels
- Climax- They kill the dinosaur and threaten to kill Eckels if anything changed in the future. Before they leave they make Eckels fetch the bullets that was in the dinosaur.
- Falling Action/Resolution- They all return to the year 2055 where the smallest changes occurred because Eckels killed a butterfly when he stepped off the path. Mr. Travis killed Eckels
