- this picture describes when Katie saw a dog hurting Lynn. Katie threw a bottle of milk at the dog, but missed and hit the road. the dog ran to lick up the milk and even though Lynn was getting hurt by the dog, she didn't want the dog to hurt its tongue on the broken glass.
- "I want bera-bera!"

- this picture describes when Lynn and Katie were wishing, but this time decided to only wish "selfish" wishes. after wishing for things they really wanted, they felt like they should wish one selfless wish.
- why wouldn't they want to know me, who wouldn't want to know me.

- This scene shows when the other kids were insulting Katie. they asked racist questions like "are you Chinese or Japanese" or "what's your "Native" name?
- this scene describes when lynn and Katie were both crying about things they had lost while driving. they had to switch cars because of how annoying their crying was. After a while uncle asked them if they wanted to know how to spit like him and Lynn and Katie stopped crying so they could learn.
- this scene shows when Lynn was talking to katie about how at school people will treat her differently. Katie doesn't understand why because she thinks of herself as perfect.
- Lynn is very intelligent. This is shown when she is playing chess with Uncle. Lynn beats uncle over and over.
