- Hi my name is Miles and this is my twin Niles.
- Today we are talking about the solar system.
- Yeah! They only reflect light!
- Planets can give off light right ?
- No dumbo!
- The solar system is made from the sun, Moons, and 8 planets . It is also made from the objects that are orbiting the sun.
- A planet is a large round big ball. They also don't make light instead they reflect light. 8 planets orbit the sun and orbit means to go in a path around the sun.
- Inner planets are the closest to the sun. These planets get a lot of heat and light .They are small ball shaped balls made out of rock. The planets name Earth, Mercury, Venus, and Mars.
- A star is a hot ball of gas that can give off light. In the sky they look like tiny little dots, but they are not. they are so tiny because they are far away.
- The stars color is red, blue, and yellow. The colors also mean how cold and hot it is. Red means very cold, blue means really, really hot and last but not least a yellow star is medium dwarf like our sun.
- The Sun is also is a star and the sun is also the largest in the solar system. The sun looks big because we are the third planet away from the sun. The sun gives off light, heat, vitamin d, energy and life.
