Storyboard Description

It involves balloons.

Storyboard Text

  • How does temperature affect the rate of pressure loss of different gases from a balloon?
  • Balloons lose pressure over time. They lose more or less pressure depending on the gas the balloon is filled with and the temperature the balloon is stored in.
  • I am guessing that argon stored in a hot place will lose the most pressure faster than all of the other gases and temperatures.
  • I will examine what gas loses the most pressure over time and what temperature that balloon is stored in. The gases are compressed air, pure oxygen, carbon dioxide, helium, and argon. There will be 2 balloons for each gas. One will be stored in a hot place, and he other will be stored in a cool place.
