  • I wouldn't eat that if I were you...
  • IMPORTANT!
  • IMPORTANTDear Mr. Vixen Fox, We are writing to inform you that part of the magic forest will be cut down to make room for the construction of a Fairytale themed shopping mall. Unfortunately, this portion of the forest will include your home. Please collect all of your belongings and vacate the premises by the end of the week. Thank you very much, Magic Forest Construction P.S. If you have any questions please feel free to call us at 1-800-magic.”
  • The Magic forest was Vixen Fox’s favorite place in the entire world. Why, there was no other place like it! The forest was where Vixen was born and had lived his whole life.
  • MOVE?!
  • It was the place he met his best friends, Amelia and Joey...
  • ...and the place he got to meet all the famous, fairytale characters!
  • But most importantly, the Magic Forest was special to Vixen because it was his home.
  • “Yes, hello. I just found a letter on my door saying that I have to move. This must be some sort of mistake,” Vixen said. “Oh, you must be talking about the new mall we’re building! That is no mistake at all. We are very excited, the mall should be spectacular,” Karen responded cheerfully. “But, you can’t just make me move,” Vixen exclaimed into the phone. “I’ve lived here my whole life. There must be something you can do.” “Sorry sir, that construction project is already well underway. In fact, construction starts at the end of the week. The only thing I can do for you is offer to pay for your relocation and possibly give you a coupon to use at the mall,” Karen replied in her peppy tone.
  • One day, Vixen came back to his house to find a letter had been posted on his door.
  • “Say cheese Vixen!” Amelia called through the window. Beside her stood Vixen’s other good friend, Joey. As per usual, Joey had his eyes glued his notebook, rapidly scribbling away.
  • Vixen reread the letter again in disbelief. “MOVE!” Vixen said aloud, “I can’t move! This is my home!”
  • Still shocked, Vixen rushed inside and called the number on the bottom of the letter.
  • They can’t just make you move Vixen. That’s completely unfair!” Joey said while Amelia nodded her head fiercely in agreement. “You guys have to help me!” Vixen begged. “I’m not really sure how I can help,” Amelia responded hesitantly, “The only thing I’m really good at is taking photos. What use will that be?” “Yeah,” Joey said in agreement, “And I’m just a writer. But it’s not like my writing will stop them from building the mall.” “You guys! That’s perfect,” Vixen said excitedly, “We can send photos of all the people they’re asking to move and write letters to everyone living in the Magic Forest. If we get enough support, there’s no way the company will still build the mall.”
  • “Hello, Magic Forest Construction company,” answered a high pitched, peppy voice, “Karen speaking, how may I help you?”
  • Speechless, Vixen hung up the phone without responding. He could not believe this! The place that he had grown up, the home he loved, was going to be destroyed to make room for a mall. There was no way Vixen was going to let that happen. He immediately began brainstorming ways to stop the construction company. Vixen was still thinking about how to save his home, when there was a flash through the window. Vixen glanced up in surprise to find his friend Amelia grinning and holding her camera
  • Still shocked, Vixen rushed inside and called the number on the bottom of the letter.
