  • Energy conservation means using less energy to accomplish the same tasks. It involves being mindful of how we use energy and finding ways to reduce waste. This could mean turning off lights when they're not needed, using energy-efficient appliances, or finding alternative sources of energy like solar power. The idea is to save energy wherever possible to help the environment and save money on energy bills.
  • Burning fossil fuels, such as coal, oil, and natural gas, releases carbon dioxide (CO2) and other greenhouse gases into the atmosphere. These gases trap heat, leading to global warming and climate change. Additionally, the extraction, processing, and transportation of fossil fuels cause environmental damage, including deforestation, habitat destruction, and pollution of air, water, and soil.
  • FOSSIL FUELS: Non-renewable energy.
  • Exploration: Before excavation begins, geological surveys and exploration activities are conducted to identify potential fossil fuel reserves. This may involve seismic surveys, drilling test wells, and analyzing geological formations to estimate the quantity and quality of the deposits.
