reporting to office: the enemy has tanks and all war ships set up on the coast of Dover, they are going to attack Dunkrik and Calais
Hitler: set up all troops and weapons on the coasts of Dunkirk and Calais
General: but sir, what if they attack near normandy or some place else? shouldn't you spread all troops evenly along the coast lines

With operation bodyguard in place ( attack plan but included the fake battle landing spot around Dunkirk and Calais and fakes set up in Dover ) and exercise tiger completed ( practice battle from June 1st - June 5th ) Invasion ships along the English south coast are loaded and ready to set sail for Normandy on June 5th at dawn. Boats are expected to reach Normandy's shore destination on June 6th around 5 am.
June 6th, 1944, 8:00 - 9:00 am
meanwhile well the British, Canadian and Americans are launching all operations and setting sail for Normandy, germans had been spying over Dover on the English shore seeing all tanks and boats ready to set sail ( operation bodyguard, all tanks and ships were fake ). Hitler sees their plan to attack Dunkirk and Calais and sets up most troops along those shores leaving the shore of Normandy less secure.
June 6th, 1944, 9:00 - 11:00 am
Hitler: no do as I say they are only going to attack Dunkirk and Calais
On the morning of June 6th, all troops have their assigned beaches and have landed. On Utah and Omaha Beach, around 51,000 American troops landed with around 2,197 casualties. Gold and Sword beach consisted of around 55,000 British troops with 1100 casualties. lastly, Juno Beach was stormed on by 20,000 Canadian troops and had around 1,200 casualties.

Around 8:05 am, the 3rd Canadian infantry division reports the explosion of about 16 shells per minute on the mike green beach area ( Juno Beach ). Around 9:00 am another report come In from the Canadians saying that all troops have landed and the situation of Juno beach looks excellent and should be secure very soon.
8:00 am: there's been an explosion on Juno Beach. about 16 shells every minute
9:00 am: Sir, Juno Beach is looking good at the moment, most German troops are gone. we should be able to secure soon
on June 6th, around 9:00 am Hitler wakes up at his home in Berlin after a late night listening to Wagners music. before hitler woke up no general dared to give orders without his permission and no one dared to wake him up. finally when hitler woke up the he was happy about the invasion news and sounded relived. " the news couldn't be better ". said hitler when finding out about the invasion.

Around Noon on June 6th, Canadian troops were proud and excited to call in that Juno Beach was secure and give to okay to Major General Rod Keller to come ashore. with Juno Beach secure the next move was to continue advance till nightfall.
