  • In Denmark a kingdom was threatened by a beast, Grendel. Then one day the great warrior Beowulf arrived.
  • Slide: 2
  • A great feast was held in Beowulf's honor where he boasted about his bravery. Just then the beast arrived.
  • Slide: 3
  • When Beowulf defeated Grendel the king threw another feast in Beowulf's honor!
  • Slide: 4
  • Then suddenly Grendels mother a swamp hag comes and threatens the kingdom to avenge her son's death.
  • Slide: 5
  • King Hrothgar tells Beowulf that there is a lake where the water burns and where he believes Grendel's mother is hiding.
  • Slide: 6
  • Beowulf, again saves the kingdom and brings back the head of Grendel from the bottom of the lake as a prize for the king!
