- Louisiana Purchase
- did you hear that Livingston and Monroe bought of Louisiana for $15 million in 1803
- Trail of Tears
- Andrew Jackson Said that we need to get you guys out of this land in 1830 even though its winter
- The Alamo
- we might not win but we will hold out for a long time in the Alamo in 1836
- This deal expanded the U.S trade network because we could transport goods easier by boat because we got the port of New Orleans. Indigenous people felt lesser than and would want to rebel because they could no longer trust the Americans anymore
- Mexican War
- The U.S could focus more on their Idea of manifest destiny instead of worrying about being crowded in small towns with a big population of people. The Indian tribes would have trouble functioning as tribes without so many people that they lost in the Trail of Tears. The Indian tribes would be blighted with the loss of family and friends from the illnesses of the long 800 ish mile journey.
- Oregon Trail
- we will go to war with you Great Britain in Oregon over the Oregon territory in 1846
- Texasbecoming part of the U.S would affect slavery because Texas is pro-slavery so southern states would want Texas to join the U.S but northern states would not wantTexas to join the U.S. Texas would play a part in helping the U.S with theirdept as well.
- Wounded knee massacre
- no please don't kill me I'm defenseless and i don't want to die at the wounded knee river in 1890
- Mexico lost many people crucial in their economy Farmers, Merchants, Bankers, and ECT.and that would affect their economy and how they function. The U.S continued to get more land and become stronger and more powerful to the state we are today.
- we want our border to be the Rio Grande and this will be a two year long war from 1846-1848
- The new land for the U.S gave new places for farming and finally fulfilled the idea of manifest destiny as well as eliminating the threat of Great Britain that could have grown more powerful if the U.S had not stood up and taken some ofthe land.
- no we don't want war you can have Oregon
- this was mostly the end of U.S v.s Native American conflicts because most of the remaining Indian tribes were either muted or assimilated into U.S society. this was important to the U.S because the obstacle of the native Americans went extinct.
