  • A SILENT ENVIRONMENT
  • I love my environment. This place is conducive for learning.
  • We are introduced to a little girl called Regina. She is been taught how to read by her grandparents.
  • THE MARKET
  • Whoosh!! This place is very noisy. I have to finish this novel today. Hi, my name is Amina . This is my mummy's shop. She sells at the market. I love reading. Although the environment doesn't help, I don't stop reading.
  • Regina has access to a lot of books.
  • AMINA'S HOME
  • This is my house. During the day , my house is very noisy. I want to be popular poet in future. The children in my house likes making noise. The always distract me when am reading.
  • Here, she is happy, and this is because she likes the environment she find herself in.

  • At night, uncle Joshua's pub will be clubbing till dawn. I am really suffering to read. I am in a Zongo. My parents are also illiterates .Hmm..............
  • Amina, a student of the Newtown Elementary is reading in front of her mum's shop at the market.
  • She takes us to her house where she describes the atmosphere of her house during the day.
