  • (spoken) Hi, my name is Rhonda Davis-Comoretto, and I want to take a moment to thank you for considering my professional background. I have spent the last 20 years, working as a major gift officer for some of the top non-profits in the country; such as St. Jude Research Hospital and the American Red Cross on a National level and COSI and Children’s Hunger Alliance on the local level.
  • (camera zooms in) (text over video; "skills need for fundraising position") (Spoken) Strong ability to establish objectives, set performance standards, and organize successful approaches to achieving fundraising goals. A proven track record of solid relationship building both internal and external constituencies. Understanding of donor databases and wealth screening tools. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • (spoken) (turn slightly to face the camera) I identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward major gift donors and prospects, including individuals, corporations, foundation. I actively engage in establishing long-term relationships and strengthening existing donor relations. I oversaw special campaign initiatives including the development of solicitation strategies.
  • (spoken) I constructed and oversaw a portfolio of 125 individual, corporate, and foundation prospects. Designed a cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship strategy for each prospect. I am a results driven fundraiser with a track record for building lasting, mutually beneficial partnerships with the highest attention to detail. My work history demonstrates extensive ability to manage projects with high levels of organization, and process management. I am passionate about learning andmeeting new people while providing the best donor experience possible. 
  • (spoken) (Tilt head to left with right arm down and left hand on hip) I solicited $250,000 gift from an individual donor/major gifts. Secured gift which was at the time the largest gift the Columbus office had received in over 10-years. I secured 75% of corporate and foundation sponsorship's for two-year educational campaign to prepare 500,000 people to prevent and respond to disasters (total raised$350k). The corporations were Nationwide Insurance, American Electric Power, and Nisource. I have closed partnerships with medium to small businesses as well with great success.
