- After Ichabod left the party he attempted to ride back to the farm where he got his horse from. Ichabod however, is terribly afraid of ghosts and spirts, and he was traveling at night. He was cautious jumping at the slightest sign of a spirit. Suddenly a black figure on a horse was in front of Ichabod. He chased Ichabod for quite a while. Ichabod saw the church where the headless horseman was buried and from the stories at the party, he remembered that if he crossed the bridge to the church, the headless horseman would disappear. So he did just that. However the horseman made it across the bridge. The horseman threw his head at Ichabod and he fell on the floor, motionless.
- I wonder what happened to Ichabod? I bet he encountered the headless horseman.
- After Ichabod encountered the headless horseman he disappeared. Ichabod had no debts or family so people forgot about him quickly. But they always wondered what happened. Maybe he did encounter the headless horseman, or maybe he moved to New York. To this day most don't know what truly happened. Except for one man.
