Assessing your health and fitness levels is important because it tells you and healthcare workers how fit and healthy you are and what kinds of exercises and workouts you need to do in order to stay or become fit and healthy. Whether your fit and healthy can determine certain life or death issues.
You need to do 5 assessments to measure your health. You need to measure your weight. Next, you need to measure your resting heart rate, this is usually taken before you get out of bed. Third, you need to measure your blood pressure. Fourth, you need to measure your Body Mass Index. The formula for this is weight/ height squared. Finally, you need to measure your circumference; waist, hips, chest, thigh, and upper arm.
First, run one mile that's under 13 minutes and measure your heartbeat for ten seconds. Then, multiply that number by 6. Next, do a sit up test and do as many sit ups as you can in one minute. Third, do a push up test and do as many as you can in one minute. Finally, do a sit and reach test with a yardstick with your feet at the 15 inch mark. Then, reach the farthest you can and record your highest score out of the three tries you did.
