  • In order to stay fit and healthy, you need to do a exercise that targets the muscles that you want to improve on and one that you enjoy doing. If you do an exercise that you enjoy doing, you will most likely have fun in doing so and will have higher motivation in completing that activity.
  • Caloric Balance
  • I ate a total of 2,000 calories today and then I burned 2,000 calories. I will be the same weight.
  • When selecting a physical activity, there are other things to consider other than enjoying the exercise. An example of this is having a health issue, such as having asthma. Having asthma can affect how hard you can run and whether or not you can run because you forgot your inhaler, etc.
  • Summary
  • I need to run with Troy for 30 minutes today and consume the same amount of calories that I burned.
  • The weather outside has many risks that can affect your health and safety. For example, if it is very hot outside, you could become dehydrated, dizzy, lightheaded, etc. This could lead you to pass out in the middle of the pavement and depending on where you are, nobody could even notice you lying there. If it is too cold outside, you can suffer from hypothermia or lose to much heat in body temperature.
  • Caloric balance is when how many calories you burned are compared to how many calories you consumed. If you exercise you burn calories as well as when our body burns calories for energy. If you burn more calories than you consumed, you lose weight. If you burn less calories than you consumed, you will gain weight.
  • Selecting physical activities is a whole process to go through. You have to think of the many factors that you need to accomplish as well as factors that may inhibit your physical activity progress. You also need to maintain a caloric balance so that you're not underweight nor overweight.
