  • Della and Jim are a young struggling couple.
  • Della is in her apartment sad about how she cant find Jim a present for Christmas. She was trying to look for the money.
  • Della cuts off all her hair for money. Now she can buy Jim his present.
  • Della and Jim suprise eachother with gifts. Jim gets her a set of combs and Della gets him a watch holder.
  • Jim decides its a good idea to put the gifts away and to save them for later.
  • They both relize that they don't need the gifts. The only thing they need is eachother.
