- The hope and promise for American public schools is to provide a safe, respected environment where students can gain knowledge. Regardless of their background, gender, race, social category or learning disabilities, students need to have a fair opportunity to be trusted, respected and successful.
- Teachers need to identify their biases and beliefs, so they can address them for the betterment of their teaching abilities. With this, student expectations and student motivation will increase.
