- Climax
- Bree and her dad move to florida from brooklyn for her dad's job. She makes many new friends and even feels like she belongs. Bree loves math and wants to sign up for math club. When she goes to register she is told everything is full but swimming 101. She is filled with dread because swimming is her worst fear. Bree never learned to swim and hates pools because of it.
- Falling Action
- Soon Bree figures she needs to learn because she's running out of excuses for skiping, but from who? Mrs. Etta who lives upstairs was on a swim team when she was younger so Bree decides to ask her. Very soon Bree has lessons with Mrs. Ettta and slowly gets better and better taking baby steps and slowly overcoming her fear.
- Resolution
- Bree has learned to swim and now needs to decide beetween doing math club like she thought she wanted or do swim team and possibly disappointing her dad. She is stuck. At swimming 101 that day the desicion has been made. She won a race and was on the swim team if she wanted to have the spot. The good thing about this was that her friend was on the swim team so they could train together. She went from not knowing how to swim to becoming part of the team.
- Bree and the swim team train extra hard to try to make it to the campionships in hopes to beat their enimies and rivals holyokee Prep to the finish line. They also get a new coach Mrs. Etta who glady shares her swimming knowledge to better the team. One thing that made her said though was that her dad could never attend her meets.
- Bree's house
- At states Bree and her team do awesome and bring home the gold. As a suprise her dad shows up to cheer her on. After winning it to celebrate they go out as a team. They were all very proud.
