- Hi, our names are ;Billy,Tilly and Milly the raindrops and these are our stories about how we went through the Water Cycle.
- It all began on one sunny afternoon...
- We were all ;swimming in the ocean when the sun's heat; us up, and we; all stared to evaporate.
- Mr. Sun said that ;we were evaporating and transforming into water vapour.
- Ahhhh! we're falling! Someone save us! Help!, but then Mr. Sun replied:
- This is Tilly's story
- Relax. You are precipitating from the clouds as rain. You'll be fine. You are falling out and you'll be back home real soon.
- As I was falling, a leaf caught me, meaning he intercepted me. I then ;managed to drip down and wiggled my way;across the grass (also called the surface runoff) and dive into a stream.
- Unfortunately for the raindrops, they all landed in different places after precipitating from the clouds.So lets start with Billy's journey...
- And now You're are going through the condensation phase of the Water Cycle. You are condensing and changing from water vapour into clouds.
- I landed in a puddle starting of as;surface storage, but then I started sinking into the ground-infiltrating.
