- we are quic to find scape goats, especcially if someone points blame at us.
- humans are quick to jump to conclusions.
- fear can turn humans into monsters.
- when they were outside one time, charlie was blamed to being the alien, but he started saying that it was charlie, a little boy, but then charlies mom said that since he was just a kid, he could not be an alien.
- prejudice can be as dangorous as any weapon
- they were outside wondering what was going on with the lights and everything, they see something in the distance and charlie pulls out a shotgun and shoots it with no hesitations thinking its an alien, but it is really just a neighbor, pete van horn.
- something slightly out of the ordinary can be turned into chaos.
- at the beginning of the play, there is the aliens in the sky making loud noise while in there ship.
- the people who live on maple street are prejudging les because they think he could be the monster,because they think one of the people on maple street is the monster.
- it started at the beginning when they heard the loud noise and now they blame eachother and throw rocks at charlies house
