- The action starts in the courtroom with the judge questioning the accuser. Harold tries to interrupt, claiming that her accusations are just lies and later he is dragged away for making chaos.
- Stay away you demon! You deserve to be in jail!
- I- I know your lying I see something evil forming in you! you just want to help yourself!
- Please stop! Abby don't say that!
- She is the real demon here, she plans to keep me to herself and kill my wife!
- Smith presents a petition as evidence of the good Mary, Serena, and Martha, but it backfires; Dan has a warrant for the signees.

- Dan orders the accuser to discuss the affair topic. Serena is unaware that Josh admitted to the affair. She claims she fired Abby because she was concerned she and her husband were getting close. She lies about her suspicions to protect Josh's reputation. Dan believes Josh is lying, but they are proven not guilty and are let go.
