- Growing up in Chicago, Deveraux's mother made sure that they had everything that they needed. The neighborhood was really close as the kids played outside and had fun very often.
- As Deveraux grew older he started to work but he also miscellaneous things had a few run-ins with law enforcement.
- He decided that that type of life was not best for him and his kids so he eventually moved to Tennessee where his kids and their mother had moved a few weeks prior.
- That was stressful but I'm glad I kept my composure
- Deveraux saw Tennessee as a fresh start. He didn't know anyone so it was opportunity grow and show that hard work really pays off.
- Deveraux had more responsibilities. He started wanting better for himself as well as his children. His mindset was to not have to depend on anyone. So he worked his way up in the work industry. From the employee to employer.
- As a General Manager, Deveraux has learned plenty. As he deals with multiple personalities throughout the days. He doesn't let his emotions get in the way of his logical thinking. He evaluates before reacting. And follows the Golden Rule. He used to be so self-indulged and nonchalant...now look at him; mature and driven.
