  • Im the president and I’m WAY too weak!

  • I cant even get them to pay taxes! I have no control over the people.
  • Show us!!!
  • The “president” tells some of the delegates that he is weak and has no power over his people. He can ask them to pay taxes but has no way to enforce it.

  • People of the colonies! Please!! We need money so i beg of you to pay your taxes!
  • NO!!
  • Wow this guy has ZERO power! HAHAHAHAHAHA!!
  • Maybe we should ask the soldiers to help enforce peasants paying taxes.
  • The president asks the people to pay taxes but no one does. So him and his delegates decide to go to the soldiers to try to get help from them.
  • Slide: 3
  • We will pay you we just need to get the money or TAXES first!
  • They ask the soldiers for help but they refuse to work without getting paid in advance. So without being able to pay them or being able to get the money, they truly had no power or influence over the people or colonies.

  • You’re right.
  • Soldiers help! Can you help us get taxes from the peasants?
  • Why would we help enforce YOUR laws when you cant even pay us?
  • WHAT?! You think we’re gonna work without getting paid in advance? You’re mad!
  • Great! Now we have no soldiers or money.
