Content: Earth's Resources, including water, are used in a variety of ways (ACSSU032). Students identify some actions which could be taken to care for and use water sustainably, eg turning off dripping taps and/or taking shorter showers (Sustainability and Ethical Understanding).

  • Hello. I'm Drippy Danny. I want to save water but I don't really know how....can you help me Freda Fish?
  • Yes I can, Drippy Danny. There are lots of simple ways to save water. I'll show you four then maybe you can think of some more!
  • Turn off the tap whilst brushing your teeth.
  • Have a short shower instead of a bath.
  • Use the half flush button when flushing the toilet.
  • Be a leak detective! Tell a grown up if you notice a leaking tap so it can be quickly fixed.
