Storyboard Text

  • Matt needs to work on another iteration of FeatureABC for their new product. He can get the last version "FeatureABC.V10.pptx" from a few months ago in his File Manager and starts a new task for everyone using this version so that everyone knows they are starting from the last iteration.
  • Hmmmm, we worked on this months ago before priorities changed. Let me start from the last version and we can go from there.
  • John and Rachel see a notification of the task that Matt has set them. They both start working on their parts. Rachel saves her draft and has to go, she will pick it up later. John finishes up his part and submits it to the team. Only Rachel can see her drafts, everyone can see that John has submitted some changes in "FeatureABC.V11_01.pptx".
  • Hey John, I have to run to an appointment, I'm going to finish up later.
  • Sally had seen earlier that both John and Rachel were working on the designs. Now she gets notifications that they have both submitted documents. She goes on and sees "FeatureABC.V11_01.pptx" from John and "FeatureABC.V11_01.pptx" from Rachel. She opens both, pastes in some from Rachels to John's and adds in her section. Sally then submits this for the team to see,
  • Everyone can see "FeatureABC.V11_02.pptx" from Sally.
  • Matt logs on to continue working on the designs. He sees 3 documents, the last Sally submitted that stemmed from Johns, Johns and Rachels. He opens all of them to review. He then edits some of Sally's and submits it letting the team know they should review it and tell him if anything was wrong. Everyone can see "FeatureABC.V11.02.pptx" the next version.
  • There were quite a lot of comments from the designers, so they schedule a meeting to discuss it. Matt brings up the lastest version for them all to look at. They edit it during the meeting and Matt publishes it as the latest and greatest for FeatureABC version 11. He closes the task as they are all in agreement.
  • This should be to the left
  • No, it should be in the middle - everyone is accustomed to it there. I'll pull up my document and you pull up yours. We can look at the two and decide.
  • The Engineering team, who had the last version get a notification that there is a new version. They can now use this to start implementing the new feature.
  • You see the designs for the ABC? That is soooo much better!
