Storyboard Text

  • One Day, Tommy was walking down the Street...
  • Tommy knocked on his friend's door. Robert invited Tommy over to play video games that day.
  • Hold on for a second Tommy, just grabbing my video game from the other room!
  • My new game is called Virus Fighters 9! You have to fight and kill the viruses before they reproduce!
  •
  • All you have to do is press that button over there to start the game.
  • Tommy walked over to Robert's gaming system, and pressed the "ON" Button. All of a sudden... ZAP!
  • AAHHH!!! Where am I?
  • Tommy? Can you hear me? It's Robert. I think you got zapped into the video game!
  • Listen Tommy. Your only way out is to beat the game. You need to defeat all of the viruses. Luckily... I just learned how the viruses reproduce in my biology class!
  • OH NO!
  • Alright, Tommy... I need you to go outside. I'm watching you via my TV screen!
  • Alright Robert, where are all of the viruses?
  • The first one is coming up to you now!
  • Wait a minute... that's not a virus! That's DNA!!
  • You're right Tommy! That may not be a virus just yet, but look now! The virus is going to infect the cell and integrate itself into the DNA!
  • Are you seeing this Robert? Not only has this cell turned into an ANGRY TRUMP VIRUS, but it has taken over the cell processes and protein synthesis.
  • Okay Tommy, I need you to wait until the virus finishes its Reproduction process before you kill it. The virus shoudn't be dangerous until it finishes this process.
  • Okay, I'll believe you! Your biology teacher, Ms. Palma, sure seems to know her stuff!
  • Hey Robert, what comes next in the process?
  • Next in the process, the virus makes multiple copies of its viral parts.
  • OH NO!
  • Now, the host cell is popped!
  • POP
  • Wow! Now the virus had completed his cycle!
  • Robert... What's happening?
  • With another ZAP, Tommy was back in Robert's room again!
  • Wow, I'm back here again, maybe the point of the game wasn't to kill the evil virus, but to learn more about how viruses reproduce.
  • Thanks Ms. Palma!
