- How was school?
- He clicks the mouse to start recording.
- This one is for you, Maddy
- He begins to attempt to play the guitar and sing. It isobvious that he cannot do either.
- ♫♪Maddy, I wish I had your touch.Don’t you know, I miss you verymuch?♫
- And uploaded, this is it.
- Scott runs through the front door. His mother, JUDY (47), notices him as she watches her afternoon television. Scott runs straight past her to go to his room.
- His mother, concerned he didn’t respond before, enters his room.
- Mum! What are you doing in here!?Get out!
- He sits down at his desk and gets the webcam ready. He pulls out an acoustic guitar that looks like it has never been touched before.
- INT. MADDY’S ROOM
- I know right!
- Today was just the worst!
- Scott uploads the video online and sends the link to Maddy via a private message.
- Maddy clicks on the mouse. The start of Scott’s video can be heard. Maddy is shocked it is about her.
- Scott leaves to go to work.
- I just came to see if you werealright before you go to work.
- Did You get bullied today again?
- Alright, just trying to be a goodmother.
- Mum please!
- Maddy is sitting in her room on her computer. She is on Skype with JESSICA (17)
- Hang on, I got this mail from some Scott
- Maddy bursts out in laughter and resumes talking to Jessica.
- ♪♫Maddy, I wish I had your touch.Don’t you know, I miss you verymuch?♫
- Oh my God, Jessica! You have to seethis video. I’ll send it over rightnow.
