- Chapter 11: The Sirens 6(Singing is a murderer). The crew sailed through a pair of dangerous, amazing singers that would attract you to their island. Ulysses used his mother's advice to stay away from them at all costs.
- Chapter 12: Scylla and Charybdis A monster shook the ship and took six men, but using the dead's advice, the crew sailed perfectly between the two monsters.

- Chapter 13: The Cattle of the Sun The crew landed with desperate want for food. Against Ulysses's will, the starving sailors killed and ate the golden cattle of Helios. Helios complained and many gods now hated the crew.

- Chapter 14: Calypso Calypso, a titan, found Ulysses washed up at the shore. She kept him captive, showing him the past, present, and future of his home. Ulysses, desperate to go home, sought help from a bird to escape.
- Chapter 15: Ino's veil As Ulysses was tiredly swimming home, Posideon saw him and sent a storm. Ino, a naiad, gave Ulysses a veil to swim home. Off course, Ulysses landed on an island.
- Chapter 16: Nausicca Tired from days of swimming, Ulysses landed on an island. Ulysses told his stories but not many believed him. The king was warned about a sailor with many tales and made a plan to kill or exile him.
