The Sword in the Stone
Storyboard Text
- Merlin was walking down a path on a dark stormy night. He was carrying a baby and that baby was King Uther's son. King Uther had given Merlin the baby to keep safe.
- King Uther is then killed and knights began fighting about who should be king.
- Then a strange sword appeared in a big stone in the Abbey. Knights then started coming in to pull out the sword. Merlin stated that whoever pulled out the sword would be King but as no-one could pull the sword out they had a big jousting competition.
- At the tournament Sir Ector brought Kay and young Arthur to the joust. Kay had forgotten his sword and sent Arthur to find one. Arthur went to the Inn but it was closed as everyone was at the tournament. Arthur then went to the Abbey.
- Arthur found the sword and pulled it out. He then brought it to Kay, Kay knew what the sword was and then said that he had pulled it out himself. Sir Ector found out that it was actually Arthur.
- Merlin declared that Arthur was the true King of England. Arthur was a great ruler, and became a great legend.
