- The Garcia family has moved into a new home. They want to make sure they decorate their home nicely. To do that they need to find some of the dimensions in the home.

- He remembers learning about SOHCAHTOA in high school. After thinking, he knows he needs to use sine(SOH) in this equation. He writes his work down on paper and finds that X is approximately equal to 14.12 ft

- To find the angle of elevation Princess needs to use inverse trig since she has the opposite and adjacent sides. By setting the problem up like tan-1(17/15) = x, you will find out that the angle is approximately 48.58°.
- Princess wants to personalize her tree house, but first she needs to find the angle of X.

- Mrs. Garcia finds that she needs to use the cah part of SOHCAHTOA. This is because she has the side for the hypotenuse and is solving for the adjacent side to the angle. After some hard work on solving she finds out the length of side X is approximately 15.65 ft. Which means she should probably find a picture under the length of 15 ft.

- Mrs. Garcia doesn't want the space on the wall to be empty. So she needs to find the distance between the windows so she knows what picture length fits there.
- Xeno was able to look up how he was supposed to solve this question. What he found was that he needed to use the Pythagorean Theorem, which isa2 + b2 = c2 . A and B represent the 2 legs a C represents the hypotenuse(diagonal side). After he plugged all the numbers in he found that the missing side, X, is equal to 8. Making that length of the side 8 ft.
